UNIONDALE, N.Y.- The Bruins will be looking to build off of the momentum from their big win at Lake Tahoe over the weekend when they visit the New York Islanders on Thursday night. Boston has lost both of its visits to Nassau Coliseum so far this season, accounting for two of its three regulation losses.
"They have a really good team from top to bottom," Bruins defenseman Connor Clifton said of the Islanders. "We're not really looking at the past games going into tonight. They caught us - I think the last game was the second part of a back-to-back for us. Tonight, we're just going to bring more energy, get more pucks to the net.
"We didn't generate much offense; they do a pretty good job of locking us down. Taking away time and space from their top lines in the neutral zone, where they maybe exposed us a bit and stick to our structure."
